Season Two Field Trip Montage
Sam 0:00
This field trip is proudly brought to you by RogersHood Apothecary. Talking about Wish in you. Today on this very special season two field trip montage, we are taking you along with us to our favorite healing modality spots of season two. From biohacking and Dave Asprey’s Upgrade Labs to ritual wellness for Epic Colonics, we visited Ephora Water to see just how the healthiest water on the planet is made. Stop by Lumati’s Healing Center, M HeadSpa for some special scalp treatments, and Mildred and Gertrude for all of Kim’s top skin secrets. Come with us as we learn, test out, compare, and experience all of these modalities for you to educate and inspire you to try something new for your health. What’s up, beautiful people? Welcome back to What’s Eating You. We are your host Sam and Kim. We are on a really special field trip today. Kim, tell us where we’re at. We’re at Dave Asprey’s Upgrade Labs here in Seattle, Bellevue, Washington. We’re about to show you guys some state-of-the-art high-tech modalities we’ve never shown you before that you can only find here at Upgrade Labs. So let’s go.
Lymphatic Compression And Red Light
Guide 3 1:20
Hey y’all, welcome into Upgrade Labs. My name is Claudia. I’m the manager here at the facility. We are so excited to show you around today. So doing any lymphatic drainage before cryo is just gonna help to prepare the lymph nodes for the amount of flushing out that the cryo is gonna do as well. We want you to feel nice and relaxed. Cryo does offer that really relaxing effect as well, but this is going to just help to further ground the body, help just drain out any of those detox pathways that might be a little clogged up. And you might want to take a nap here and then wake up with cryo after. Perfect. So the squeeze should be moving from the feet up all the way to the stomach, which is gonna feel really nice and relaxing. Sometimes you get it from the stomach down to the feet. This is really just gonna help to promote better blood flow, circulation. Really great for helping with edema, cellulite, and overall just boosting your lymphatic drainage efficiency. So right now we have you on a general lymphatic system setting. We also have ones for reduced inches. We have them for athletic recovery for more of a muscular um reboot. It feels so good. So good.
Kim 2:32
It just feels like it’s big squeeze. It feels the best when it moves to the hips and then it goes back down and it just feels like it’s giving you a big hug, but it’s moving your limp, which is really hard for a lot of us chronically ill people.
Guide 3 2:47
The red light on the face is a really nice touch. It’s really great for collagen production, added circulation in the face, and helping with all sorts of skin uh-related issues. So we could even do multicolor for wound support for any sort of bruising or scarring. So you can really get some additional support in here. And then, of course, later on in the red light, you can utilize that for even more work.
Sam 3:10
So it’s also mitochondrial health, right?
Guide 3 3:12
Absolutely. Yeah, absolutely. Rebuilding the mitochondria is really important to us here. So this is gonna really help with that. So they’re already experts at cryo.
Speaker 3:28
That’s good.
Cryotherapy For Inflammation And Sleep
Guide 3 3:29
Is this too? Oh my god. I love that. For anyone who’s a little bit uh nervous to go in, we don’t have to go in right at extremes. So obviously they’ve done it plenty of times. All right, you ready?
Speaker 3:41
We’re ready.
Guide 3 3:42
Three, two, one, go. Doing this is gonna put your body in a fight or flight response, which is gonna lower inflammation and help with your lymphatic system drainage, which is gonna further boost the effects of the squeeze, of the PEMF, everything here that’s circulating. This is just gonna boost that circulation, help with a great night of sleep. So hopefully they feel that relaxation when they come out, and they’re gonna get plenty of endorphin rushes as well from this. So usually we’re looking for a 20 to 30 degree drop. That’s when all these benefits start to kick in. And they’re doing awesome taking selfies and cryo. We love to see it. No gloves on too. Don’t do this at home.
Speaker 4:22
Okay.
Sam 4:29
Already have snow on my eyelashes.
Guide 3 4:42
We’d love to see it. Ready? Alright.
Guide 2 4:48
That was pretty cool.
AI Sprint Bike And VO2 Max
Guide 3 4:49
Yeah. You got a little bit of snow on you too. Great job, you too. Doesn’t that feel nice? A little pull-up? Perfect. Awesome. Okay, so for measurements, we can do that really quick. Sure. So just lift up your leg for me like this. Yeah, that’s perfect. Okay, so the bike kind of drive. Pop on in like this. Yeah. For the tiger stimulations, that’s kind of going over the exact concept that you’re looking at. Is we were trained primarily as a species to only run and exercise because we needed to get away from something coming to get us and then to recover our energy right away. So that’s what that stimulation’s gonna do on this bike here. The point of this is not for fat loss for most people. We do have fat loss as a setting. But really, what we’re looking to do is build up your VO2 max, how much oxygen you can use during the workout, and be able to bring your body back to homeostasis so you can go ahead and keep getting those big bursts of energy out over time. Okay. Does that sound okay? Yeah. Awesome. There are fat burn settings as well for those who want to use that. But for anyone who’s dealing with autoimmune diseases or heavy detox of things in the body, we really want to have you go nice and low and slow. And this is gonna help to train you in a more efficient way that’s not so hard on your body, giving you more stress. So we don’t need more stress on the body. We’re giving the body little intermittent bursts of stress, just enough to push you over and help you improve. The AI adaptive resistance is gonna kick in in 15 seconds. That’s gonna start measuring how much energy you’re putting out. So I want you to stand or push as hard as you can during those sprints, and you’re gonna feel the pedals start to mimic the energy that you’re putting out. So that’s where that added challenge is gonna be. So go ahead and start getting that momentum built up. We’re running away from the tiger now. You’re gonna feel yourself hitting that. Perfect. Keep pushing, keep pushing. I want to see you go further on that line. Look at you go. Perfect. Nice. 10 more seconds. Just doing amazing. Come on, get away from the tiger faster. Nice. So much energy output. Perfect. Look at you. Perfect. So it gives you a nice slope right there, showing you your highest point was 407 watts of power. Incredible. I can’t even hit that. So amazing job. So now bringing your body back down into homeostasis in between those two sprints is what we’re looking for. So now we’re just on that gentle walk again. So there’s a lot of recovery here. No matter if you’re working out or not, you’re gonna have recovery. She’s locked in. Oh, she’s locked. Round two. Last sprint of the workout. Good everything you got. Go for it. You’re doing awesome. We got 12 more seconds forced. Let’s see if we can get you above that 407 watts. Oh yeah, she’s locked in. Last five seconds. Nice. Three, two. Now back to relaxing. Now it’s gonna ask how you feel. And it’s gonna give you a little bit of feedback based off of that at the very end. You crushed it. That was your whole workout for today. So now you can save your energy for doing anything else you want. Amazing. Second line almost hit exactly that last one. It was a little bit more challenging this time because you had exerted so much energy the first time. This is just gonna help you keep getting better. So that second red line is gonna start matching or going above that first one.
Sam 8:05
407, what?
Guide 3 8:06
What is lots of power? That’s amazing. Really? Yes, I’ve seen men do less than that. So great job, girl. You’re killing it. Not that we’re comparing, everyone’s great, everyone’s doing awesome, but feeling strong today. Thank you. I’m just saying, Sam’s strong over here. That’s impressive. Absolutely. And then in two minutes, we’re gonna see how her VO2 Max score comes out from the first try. Do you get your heart rate nice and high? I’d love to see that. So that’s perfect. You’re getting all those benefits in just nine minutes every single time.
Sam 8:36
Okay, so now this is my result.
Guide 3 8:38
Beautiful. Your fitness score is gonna be your VO2 Max. That’s incredible.
Sam 8:43
Okay, so fitness score of 29.6.
Aphora Water Founder Interview
Guide 3 8:47
Yeah. I think that would put you somewhere in the say 50 or 60 percentile for your age and demographics. So that’s gonna be calculated using a tracker online for VO2 Max. So it’s based off of your age and whether you’re male or female. And then that’s gonna be measured through their watch. Your calories burned, you actually got a really huge amount of calories burned in this one. 115 calorie burn in nine minutes, which is awesome. Peak power hit 407. We’re gonna be tracking that progress over time, and peak heart rate was ideal. So right above the target range. We can definitely get some wiggle room in there, but great first ride. Awesome. Thanks, girl.
Sam 9:23
Good morning. Great job. Welcome back, beautiful people. Today we are taking you with us into the official Aphora headquarters in Montecito, California, to give you a private tour led by the founder himself, Ken Guayan. Come with us as we soak in a hyper-oxygenated spa and give you a sneak peek behind the scenes to show you how the world’s best, healthiest water is made. But first, trust us, you don’t want to miss this. So sit down for an exclusive, one-of-a-kind interview with Ken. So introduce yourselves, let us know who you guys are.
Ken 9:58
So, my name is Ken Gwyan. I founded Ophora about 20 years ago. But I’ve been in the water space after relates to health and wellness pretty much all my life. I filed my very first pad in my 20s. I’m gonna better really I filed my first water pad way back in the early 80s. What’s really unique about a fora is not only do we bottle and manufacture this water, we also manufacture the systems to make the water and also sell those. So a lot of folks will start out with the water and then purchase a system and make their own water at home. And that’s really what we encourage. No bottled water is sustainable. I mean, we bottle the glass, of course, uh for for a lot of reasons, but ultimately at the end of the day, you want to be making your own water. And in in today’s world, we can pretty much clean up any water.
Sam 10:48
You can convert any water.
Ken 10:50
Yeah, we can take we can take a calipot and turn it into this water. So purification is one half of the equation, the other half of the equation bringing the water back to life. And that’s what we need to do for the restructure? Yeah. That’s what restructure means. Yeah. Nano pure uh uh hydrochine and restructure. Yeah. And uh you know, it’s it’s the oxygen that’s you know, the water is so light on your tongue, that’s what it is. So, you know, for the first time you’re you know, you’re hydrating at a cellular level, and uh you know the oxygen makes it lighter in your tongue and uh penetrates your cells better.
Sam 11:29
What affects the pH? Because I noticed you said after nano purifying it’s acidic. So what what pH does it end up being? Is it alkaline? Is it neutral?
Ken 11:39
Yeah, we’re about between 8.5 and 9. Nice alkalinity. That’s primarily from the minerals. Yeah, creating alkalinity.
Sam 11:50
And the oxygen is what helps drive it into the cell?
Ken 11:53
We’re all about oxygen. It’s really interesting because if you know your oxygen saturation, you’ve all had it to test it at one point. Anything above 95% saturation means you’re healthy. Anything above 95, each point is significant. You know, 96, 97, 98. If you’re at 95 or below 95, usually means you have some health issues going on. Even mainstream medicine is applied into the fact that if you can keep your oxygen channel levels elevated, most disease is anti-toxic. And what that means is low oxygen level level. Like there loves a low oxygen environment. So I’m 75 years old, I silk every day, I just soak for a gallon. Uh I silk every day, and I drink at least three-quarters of a gallon, a sugar gallon, uh, of water a day. And my oxygen levels run between 90 and 100.
Guide 2 12:57
Amazing.
Ken 12:58
And that’s unheard of for somebody like my young athlete. So, what’s the buzz about oxygen? If you can keep your levels elevated, the chance of getting any of these weird viral immune diseases are worse is significantly reduced. It’s a great indicator of your overall health. What your absent saturation is. So I feel like the surface guessing away, I can I can look to people telling me.
Sam 13:26
Well, my aura told me this morning I’m a 97, so 97 oxygen. Oh, yeah, I’m feeling pretty good. But this is a vehicle for hydration and oxygen. Yes, that’s amazing.
Ken 13:37
So we’re all about oxygen. Um what I’m really excited about is is our spa, our hyper hyperoxygenation spa. Um I’m in the spa, I started in the spa industry. Um but this water, so the water in the spa um is nano pure. It’s basically this water. Okay. So when you’re sitting in the tub, you can drink the water. So it’s nano pure, and it’s it’s also hyperoxygenated. So there’s 32 parts per million stable amounted oxygen in the tub. So what we’ve discovered is in one 20-minute soak, in this nano-pure hyperoxyated tub, your body absorbs all the oxygen it can hold and it lasts in your body for 14 hours.
Guide 5 14:23
Wow.
Ken 14:24
Wow. So if you’re healthy, one 20-minute soap is all you need. If you have healthy sheets, you want to soak twice a day. And I was silky twice a day for I if I had the time, I I would be silky twice a day. I strongly feel like when you get whole as you age. I I think if you’re fifty or older, you should be soaking in a kidney stuff.
Kim 14:48
It’s really important to soak. Literally, it’s like what we all kind of do in the bio.
Ken 14:53
It’s the closest thing to the fountain of youth to that exists. And uh, and if you combine it with you know more movement and eating clean. Oh man, you’re gonna slay it.
Sam 15:06
Forget about it. Up next, your VIP tour. Excited to soak.
Guide 2 15:11
Wow, oh my god, our goosebumps, it’s so pretty.
Ken 15:16
That’s raw municipal carpenter water in this blue tank.
Kim 15:20
Okay.
Ken 15:20
That’s that’s street water is coming in.
Kim 15:22
That’s the street water.
Ken 15:24
That’s street water. We can fix any water. So, what we do, we have a massive hardness removal of all three of those tanks. Our design to remove all the hardness. That’s that’s again the first thing you have to do. Massive hardness remover, massive reverse osmosis here, more filtration over here, two nice mid scrubber.
Kim 15:46
Nice.
Ken 15:46
And this is the finished water in the stainless steel tank. This is pretty interesting. This is 528 hertz healing frequency. So we’re again, water is here’s more absorbed than it comes in contact with. This frequency is being full right into the lung, so it’s the last thing that happens. So uh that’s why this water is uh beginning.
Kim 16:09
You’re putting frequencies into our water. Yeah, that’s amazing. Nice healing frequency.
Ken 16:15
We’re breathing 21% oxygen right now in the atmosphere, and the rest is pretty much nitrogen. This is a nitrogen scrubber. What it’s doing is scrubbing the nitrogen out of the air and giving us 99% pure oxygen. What we do, so if I just cut that line and put it in a in a in a glass of water, it’s a bubble up, right? We have a padding process that turns those big bubbles into nanobubbles. That’s you’re sitting at the time your body’s absorbing those. We use a lot of different filter media. So there’s about 600 pounds of filter, different filter media in this tank. So there’s different levels. So let’s say we have arsenic in the bottom to remove arsenic media to remove the arsenic. But all of our systems contain these tanks that have these customized filter media, and these are backwash heads. So what happens is the water’s being uh filtered all day, and then at night it’s reversed, so it flushes all the toxins down the drain. And uh totally maintenance-free. So we we program these heads. The filter media is good for up to 15 years.
Kim 17:23
15 years. Oh yeah.
Ken 17:30
We have two types of soaking vessels that we recommend. This is a hot spring spa, it’s manufactured on a San Diego. It’s a very reliable company. I have hot spring spas in the field for 30, 35, 40 years. These things just don’t break. So all of our stuff, what I’m when I tell people you can will it to your kids. I film stuff that lasts for a lifetime. And I’m a nut about that. I’m a nut about things not breaking. I don’t really want to be in the service business. Right. I want to I want to sell this to people, have them enjoy it. So, this water, when you’re sitting in this tub, this is basically the same water you’re drinking. Okay. You can sit in this tub and actually drink the water. At the same time, you can see the oxygen bubbles. That’s pure oxygen bubbling into the water. So when you’re sitting in this tub, because of the purity, you’re literally, it’s literally sucking all the toxins out of your body. So you’re gonna come out of this tub you’ve never been so clean ever in your entire life. I’m so excited. So don’t go home and take a shower or a bath. Okay.
Kim 18:31
Uh, it’s it’s if they’re should you shower or bath before you get in them? You just get it. You just get it. But then don’t drink the water after you’re everything.
Ken 18:40
This is filtering, this is this water is being turned over every couple minutes. Uh I’ve been in this tub bleeding. I’m a big, I’m a big time hiker. The wound healing in this tub is mind-blowing. I’m a big hiker. I’ve taken some nasty falls. Uh really nasty. I should be dead. Uh, but I’ve actually been in this tub bleeding, and uh it’s uh it’s it’s a game changer for health in terms of wound healing. So nano pure hyperoxygen, sucking the toxins out of your skin, you’re uploading pure oxygen. Basically, in 20 minutes of soaking, your body’s gonna absorb all the oxygen it can hold. It’s gonna last in your body for 14 hours.
Guide 5 19:24
Wow, I didn’t know that.
Ken 19:26
So you might have trouble sleeping today.
Guide 5 19:27
Okay.
Ken 19:28
What’s the fun part for me is to listen to you after you get stuff.
Guide 5 19:33
Nice. Yeah. To get your the feedback and how you’re helping other people and healing them. Yeah. Because water is really a healing system.
Ken 19:41
This is healing. So this is kind of my last hurrah. Yeah. I mean, these systems, these systems are not inexpensive, and that’s the biggest drawback. Um trying to figure out a way to bring the cost down on these systems. You need um for this hyperoxyation process to work, you need a large body of water. So you you need the pressure. This is 500 gallons of water here. So you need you need to be sitting in a large body of water. So the water pressure forces the nanobubbles into your into your skin.
Sam 20:12
Hello, beautiful people. Welcome back to What’s Eating You. We are on a really special field trip today in Franklin, Tennessee, at Ritual Wellness with the beautiful Lauren. Thank you. Thank you for having us. Yeah, my pleasure, my pleasure. We are getting colonics today, open colonics on a Libby table, which they call the Cadillac of Colonics. Very excited. We also are doing infrared sauna and a cold plunge ice bath outside in a beautiful wellness garden space in the sun. She really has put so much love into this center. You can feel it, you can see it. It’s such a special place to be. So we’re so excited to be here. Thank you for having us. Thank you. What is a colonic and what are the benefits of it?
Lauren 20:53
In its simplest like definition, a colonic is the introduction of warm filtered water to the colon for the removal of waste and stimulating peristalsis. The reasons that people approach the modality range from, you know, there’s a spectrum of healthy to healing, as far as people who come and use this. I would say that yeast, mold, fungus, parasites, heavy metals, um, that crowd and the chronically complex ill crowd, um, who in many ways is like the wheels have come off for them. Uh, they come in and they try to regain health by doing cleansing modalities. And then there’s, you know, everything in between. Maybe somebody who is on a parasite cleanse, but they do it just throughout the year a couple of times because they believe this is, you know, a part of what’s keeping them well. And I mean, to your point, it’s like we’ve also changed as a culture. It’s like we don’t drink black radish and parsley tea anymore. We don’t, you know, make all of our, we don’t grow all of our food and make all of our things from scratch. We’re not using herbs medicinally daily. Many of us are not. And so some of those things that were always a part of, you know, older traditions all around the world. Of how we treated our bodies, that’s also gone away too. So all colonic equipment falls under one of two umbrellas, closed or open. With the closed system, the speculum, the piece that actually goes inside the body, is a little bit bigger around and it’s going in you a little bit further, more like four to six inches. And with the open system, it’s a gravity-fed system. So our motor, instead of pumping water into you, is refilling essentially like a bag or a bucket, and you have that gentle enema flow rate, one to two pounds of pressure per square inch of your colon headed into you. With the open system, the insertion gets to be a little bit smaller. It’s more like an enema tip and it’s smaller around, it’s more like the size of a pencil around. So smaller around than my pinky, and it’s going in you an inch, inch and a half, just so that it’s like right past your sphincter muscle. They’re both great systems, they’re both effective. Um, I prefer an open system personally because I like to be alone. Um, I think that once people realize that they’re safe by themselves and that they can do it by themselves, the majority of people can relax and let go. A little bit easier. You know, I mean, even if I’m friendly with you, I’m still a stranger. And so there’s a little bit of performance anxiety, I think, that goes along with a closed system. But for certain personalities who are like, I don’t want to be left alone, I want someone else there for me. I think that that’s totally fine. I think that for, you know, I would say like able-bodied, healthy people, once they figure out what an open system can do for them, a lot of people are like, hey, I I kind of like the privacy of like not looking you in the eye when I’m having when I’m releasing.
Sam 23:34
Yeah, when I’m releasing. Yeah, the most like you’re nice and vulnerable, like thing you could be doing, like uh, kind of holding it in.
Lauren 23:41
Like your dog when they’re like looking in. I can believe, you know.
Sam 23:47
I love that you named your performance anxiety. It’s so true.
Lauren 23:52
Think of how many people don’t go to the bathroom when they like go on their first vacation with their boyfriend or something like that.
Sam 23:57
Or they’re like, I don’t want to run another one, like sneaky and you go find one somewhere. Like it’s a lovely, you know what I mean?
Lauren 24:06
I’m gonna go smoke a cigarette.
Kim 24:09
Yeah, like you swiss and clip my nails.
Sam 24:12
You guys are giving away all the girls’ secrets. How long does the whole process take?
Lauren 24:18
I so I’m gonna start a timer for you for 60 minutes. Okay. Most colonics are like 30 to 45 minutes long. So the nozzle is gonna be right here. So when you hop on, this is what it looks like. You’re gonna have a seat, it’s already attached. You don’t have to wonder, like, okay, how much is going inside of me, right? You’re just going to pull this wrapper off, choke up on the tip of this. This is very buoyant. You can push it away from yourself, and then you just want it to scoop up inside of you, and only about this much can reach you inch, inch and a half, something like that. And then once you’ve done that, you might you may come up against a little bit of pressure internally, and that will be your signature muscle. And you just want to be relaxing everything, don’t be clenching anything about your pelvic floor, be really relaxed. And then you just you can move it kind of jiggle it from side to side and get it to slip right past. It does not hurt. You’ll feel a definite little like flip, and that’s how you’re like, oh, okay, that’s what she was talking about. It’s in enough for you. And then you’re gonna lay back down, and then you’ll take this towel, you’re gonna open it up completely, cover yourself completely, and that’s when you’ll ding me, and then I’ll come in and I’ll turn the water on for you, and I’ll ask you, like, do you feel it? And you’ll go, Yeah, I feel it. And then this just acts as a delivery system of water for you. And then you’re on like a Cadillac of toilets. That’s all this is. It’s a toilet. And so you’re gonna lay down and you’re you’re just going to allow the water to fill you up as much as you can. And then when you feel that urge to go, you’re gonna like take in a couple seconds beyond what’s comfortable, really tip the scales to feel like I gotta let it go. And then you’re gonna let go, and then you’re gonna bear down and push as it feels good to you. Water and waste will come outside of your body, the nozzle will stay in place, but water and waste goes outside of you, it goes down into the basin through that clear part of the pipe near the floor. And so if you want to peek over here, I’m gonna run some water through that. So where I’m running that water, that’s where you can see all of your releases. Okay. And so when you’re filling up, we say you’re on a fill. When you’re letting go of water, whether it’s clear water or water and waste, we say you’re having a release.
Sam 26:20
Cadillac of toilets. Yeah.
Lauren 26:22
The Libby system is called the Cadillac of Colonics. Oh, yeah. Do you recommend doing a parasite cleanse like prayer five with colonics? Absolutely. I mean, like, I think if somebody could only do one, I would say do the herbs.
Guide 5 26:36
Yeah.
Lauren 26:36
Um, but if somebody had it in the budget to do both, I would say then add this to what you’re doing. If they don’t have it in their budget or they don’t have any colon hydrotherapy near them, I’d say do animals at home. Yeah. Honestly. Yeah. I think it’s really important. Yeah. And so helpful. And it’ll actually push your um cleanse further.
Kim 26:59
Oh, you get deeper.
Sam 27:00
Oh, you definitely get deeper. Oh, when I’ve done ParaFy, I saw the most craziest stuff when I was on the cleanse, but then I was also doing a water enema or coffee enema. That’s when I saw a foot-long rope worm leave me.
Speaker 27:14
Yeah.
Sam’s Colonic Experience And Tips
Sam 27:14
That’s when I saw a bunch of liver flukes leave. And then after the enemas, there’s always mucus that comes out after a little bit later in the day or like a half hour, hour later. And then I know I really got the waist out because now all that’s coming out is mucus. So I hit that, you know, that clean out phase and all that. But I think to myself, if I would have done the cleanse and didn’t do an enema, water enema, coffee enema, or colonic, I don’t know that that stuff would have necessarily came out as easier dish dislodged. I am in the room. It’s so beautiful in here. She has it set up so relaxing. This soft lighting is so nice. Private, comfortable. So I’m about to change and get going. Okay, so I’m all comfy. I got the t-shirt on so that I don’t get mine wet. And I’m about to hop on to the Cadillac of Colonics. This is one of the most vulnerable spaces you can be in, doing one of the most vulnerable things humans do. And it’s really important to be comfortable and feel safe and relaxed so that you can release. And Lauren is coming in to turn everything on. Perfect. That feels so comfortable. Do you want to do any accents? I want to do coffee and tadka.
Lauren 28:36
Just tell me that you feel that.
Sam 28:38
I do.
Lauren 28:38
Okay, awesome. I’m gonna check on you in 10 plus I care are lost from here. So it’s great. Thank you. I’m gonna put you on price control. If you didn’t touch anything the entire time, you could just have your like adjust a little.
Sam 28:53
I like to adjust the flow a little bit.
Lauren 28:55
This one right here. So water flow control, and it shows you with the little arrows that more less. That is all. Got it. Yeah, and so it’s like if you were 20 minutes, 30 minutes into the session, you felt like you were just getting like walked over there. Like, God, it’s just in and out. I’m having a hard time holding it. If you turn the flow rate down a little bit, you can do that.
Sam 29:13
Thank you, Lawrence. Okay, I will. Alright, we’re going. So we’re in the middle of it. I’m gonna spare you guys from seeing anything. I’m a lady, I like to keep it classy. But I do wanted to show you like during, I’m really relaxed right now. She showed you how I can control the flow of water if I want more pressure or less, and I have this heating pad on my stomach that is really healthy. Just keep me relaxed so that like I have an easier time with this whole experience. So, even for people who are regular or feel like you know they already go and they’re so regular, like you still should definitely check out Kalonix because there’s more in there that you don’t realize. You get more out than you do just going to the bathroom, and you get way deeper as well. Get Kalonix for clear skin and a better mood. For real, it’s crazy, but it’s so hydrating and good for your skin, and it really does instantly lift your mood and make you feel better, make you feel lighter, more energized. And I already am only like 10 minutes in. I already am visually seeing clearer, so hot girls get clonics. So obviously, releasing comes in waves, and whenever I get a clonic and I have this sensation come over me. You know that feeling if you have a stomach flu or a stomach bug and you need to like go to the bathroom and you get this wave of like kind of almost chills and like this like feeling. Like how the breeding, I have it right now. It means something toxic is about to come out, like bile toxins kind of thing. Breathe through it, and then you will release and feel so much better after, but it always comes in waves and it’ll never last. So any discomfort that you experience during a chronic, know that it will pass. How much more could there be? Like, I’m already so regular. I don’t understand. I’m a smaller human. Where is it all? Like, how is there more? Holding the water in is totally different than just it filling you up when you’re releasing and you’re just constantly being in a state of releasing. And that’s something that a practitioner hasn’t necessarily explained to me before with this kind of clonic, with an open clonic, is the importance of holding the water in. You’re in here by yourself, so an open one you’re just constantly able to release as much as you want to, but you don’t get as deep. I thought that was a really important tip that Lauren taught us is to hold the water fill and then release. I made a big difference for me for this one. So I’m at the end now. I think I am totally emptied out, which you never know because sometimes you think that. And if we do a few more fulls, like there’s more. But I feel like I’ve been doing this now for about 45 minutes and I’m empty. So I’m gonna put Lauren in and we’re gonna do a coffee in a month.
Lauren 32:28
One thing that you can do is like you can think about almost like if you were playing tug of orange trying to clench and like wrap it right closer to you. You can do that with your bottom, like with a people like you go like one, two, three, like squeeze and think about like kind of uh really does help as far as creating some anti-fair sauce, like a finger method when you’re doing your coffee, and then you want to do things that like elongate your diaphragm so you can like put your phones up over to create that like space for coffee and just I don’t think I’ve ever got 32.
Guide 2 33:13
You can do it. Okay, do the fast.
Sam 33:18
Okay, I feel like this passing a little bit. Always waves with the coffee. Or you can breathe through it and hold it, it’ll pass. Wow, it’s also just a good reminder. You can do hard things, you can breathe through things that are hard and they’ll pass. Like, you know, when you’re and it feels like it’s so urgent and that you have no choice, it it’s kind of training the muscles. Yeah, and it’s putting your mind. Right. Putting your brain in your gut. I feel like I can take more coffee. Amazing. We can take the rest. She is the best. Wow, what an angel. Lauren’s amazing. She’s taking such good care of us and our whole crew. Our whole team is here today, feeling good after a long week of working and eating a lot of food. We’re cleaning out today, we’re grounding, we are detoxing and cleansing our bodies and just making sure we continue to feel good on this work trip. So thank you so much for taking such good care of us. Yeah, thank you for it. So knowledgeable, so informative. And I really do feel like this is getting a lot of education out, but also removing the taboo around it and letting people know like it’s normal, it’s safe, it’s so helpful, it’s beneficial, and it’s not weird to do, and there’s nothing to be afraid of, but it is natural to feel a little fear if you’ve never done it. But I still recommend that you try it anyway because if you can find someone as amazing as Lauren to help guide you through it, you will definitely experience the benefits. We have some people that are a little nervous, and they’re in there right now crushing it, crushing it because Lauren is that good at just being, you know, holding space for people and making them feel comfortable and knowing that they are in a safe space to heal and release and let go. And there’s something on a deeper level than just physical in that for me because I know what it feels like, and it’s spiritual and it’s also nervous system healing. Yeah, so you’re doing amazing work. Thank you so much. Thanks for coming in. Yeah, how do you feel after your colonics?
Kim 35:22
I feel totally better. My gut is way calmer, it was just a great experience. I love doing colonics and I just love Lauren. It’s why we came down here so that we could showcase what she’s doing and what a great healer she is. And we’re just so appreciative of your time today.
Lauren 35:40
So thank you. I love nerding out with you. So great. We need to nerd out even more. I know. And I’m like, it’s just so fun to that somebody has brought parasite cleansing like into the forefront of people’s minds when they’re thinking about health. Um, and I have so many young people, young families, young married couples that are like in their 30s or whatever, coming into the office and like they heard they heard of Colonics because of Roger’s hood. I mean, it’s amazing, it’s really amazing. Thank you. Yeah, it’s like you’re you’re embodying like all of that work of like old work of like Holda Clark, Hannah Kroger, and like putting it in young people’s minds. It’s pretty incredible.
Sam 36:24
Welcome back, beautiful people. Today we are taking you with us to Lumati in Incinitas, California, a health center that redefines healing, recovery, and true vitality, focusing on root causes. Coming up, join us for an exclusive VIP event where Lumati rolled out the red carpet for Kim and celebrated her work with a powerful Worm Queen speech. We got to share RogersHood’s mission and highlight everyone’s favorite tinctures that were definitely a crowd hit. But first, join us for a special tour where we get to show you Lumati’s state-of-the-art healing modalities.
Guide 1 36:57
Okay, so this is our spa. This is where it all started. This bath, it’s called the cocoon or an oxygen bath. It comes from Budapest Hungary. David Sort of reverse engineered the tub, saw that it also makes hydrogen, which makes the water alkaline, did a bunch of research into benefits of hydrogen, and then he created these hydrogen generators.
Kim 37:18
I’m excited. I’m in some pain on my hip and my knee. Okay. And I’ve just heard how this will help so much with oxygenating the area that I’ve had the pain in.
Guide 1 37:30
Personally, I’ve seen someone come in here with a dead foot. So their foot was black, they were white. Uh regular doctors wanted to amputate. He didn’t want to, and so he came and did two of those baths a day for a month, and it started to pink up and you could feel his toes again. Um eventually he went to the cocoon, they have a flagship store in Vegas, and so he was seeing their main doctor out there to continue his journey.
Guide 3 37:52
Wow.
Guide 1 37:52
Yeah. So, like personally, that’s what I’ve seen, you know, because everything else is internal, so you can’t really see that. But I actually saw his foot go from black to pink. So Matt Cohen, uh, the director of the Lamani Labs, he usually goes and installs these in people’s homes. So the Echolite is um a bone density scan. So most people have heard of a DEXA scan. Uh, DEXA scan uses radiation, uh, whereas this is ultrasound, so there is no radiation, and it could tell us if you have osteoporosis, osteopenia, the precursor, or if you have regular bone health.
Kim 38:22
Wow.
Guide 1 38:23
It could also tell us your fragility scores, so the structure of your bones, how strong they are. It’s a hundred times more accurate than a DEXA scan, too. That’s awesome. So Tanya, our sonographer, is usually the one that does it for all of our clients. As a women, you’re more likely to have osteoporosis than a man.
Kim 38:40
The doctors I worked for, they got a new scan in when I first started there, and we used to do it all the time on ourselves. It’s just so good to know. I did cordyceps and I do those often, like um monthly, to help with my bone healing.
Guide 2 38:53
Yeah, you know, as we get older. Oh, hello. As we get older, you know, um, as women, we lose our estrogen, we don’t produce as much, and so that definitely has a detrimental effect on our bones. And you know, a lot of women are sort of afraid of going on hormone replacement therapy because it does have some other side effects. And if you’re genetically prone to having those conditions, then it makes sense to avoid them. But in terms of bone health, um, it can be really protective.
Kim 39:23
I’m on estrogen. I’m on HRT for 20 years, but I protected the best I could with my bones. So that’s cool that you guys can like show people and have them understand it. What do you recommend when someone comes back with thinning bones?
Guide 2 39:39
In the uh recharge station, we have the juvenile micro impact plate, and that does very little like uh vibrations. It’s good for circulation, lymphatic system, but it also helps to uh build up bone. This is the recharge station. Okay, and um we used to call it the five in one because it has five different modalities and different things to that it does, but the one that I’m referring to is this um Juvant Micro Impact Plate.
Kim 40:06
That is so cool. Yeah, that is so cool.
Guide 1 40:14
The research portal we used to call the five in one uh because we’re starting five different uh modalities in one. The first step is the shot of curcumin or lamadi red in water that I just shot, that I just took, yep.
Sam 40:28
Uh-huh.
Guide 1 40:28
So that’s a good anti-inflammatory on the antioxidant, and it has a bunch of iodine which will give you some energy. Awesome. Most people are lagging in iodine. Right. The second step is our um hydrogen inhalation. So we’ll have third hydrogen. Nice, thank you. Okay, so that’s step two. Step three, um, these are vagus nerve stimulator headphones. Wow. Um, so these will go on your vagus nerve behind your ear, by your jaw, and vibrate. You might feel it going up your ear, uh like a pulsating sense. How cool. It also might feel like you’re getting a facelift and it’s point like you’re skin back.
Sam 41:03
Thank you, you’re the best.
Guide 1 41:04
So, yeah, there’s a left and a right side where I handed it to you. That’s right. Yes. Okay, and then I’m going to turn it on. Let’s see, I’ll say whole list. And then we had to go to intensity three for you to fill on both sides. And then we could turn it up or down, depending on how much you’re feeling it.
Sam 41:22
That feels so cool.
Guide 1 41:23
Uh guided meditation slash breath work. Oh, cool. Um, so we have a few different programs. We’ll start with the wellness program. Okay. So you can stand up on the UV plate. Okay. And then I’m going to choose the light program for you.
Guide 2 41:40
Okay.
Guide 1 41:41
Um, once I turn on the lights, I’m going to leave the room. When I shut the door, then you can take off your robe and um just face the light turns off, you’re gonna get off and take the headball and physical off.
NLS Bioresonance Scan And Metatherapy
Sam 41:53
Sounds good. Let’s go. Thank you. Next up, our whole crew got to continue our private tour of Lumati and try even more of their state-of-the-art modalities, like this mind-blowing NLS bioresonance scan.
Guide 1 42:14
Basically, you’ll hold on to a bio rod for about five to ten minutes. Really, this is just grounding you and then opening up your nervous system to receive right frequencies. Okay. And then you’ll be wearing these headphones. They have a special sender and receiver diode on the inside. So it sends right frequencies through your ears, down your spinal cord, out to your organs, tissues, cells, uh, down to your DNA and like chromosomes. That’s good. And then your body responds um and it tells you energetically on a scale of one to six how good or bad you may be doing. So the screen will depict what it’s skinny at. So this is tissue of the liver, and it has different points on it, and then your body, your compute on a scale of one to six with different geometrical shapes, how good or bad you’re doing.
Kim 43:00
I’m kind of excited to see what pops up, and I just finished doing a parasite cleanse. So I’m kind of excited to see. Yeah.
Sam 43:07
I just done multiple tests inside parasite free. Oh no, so we’ll see. Yeah. Yeah. You know, yeah.
Kim 43:14
And then our men, we just want to be able to tell them what to do.
Guide 1 43:18
You’ll be able to see parasites. Oh my god. And and then they could scan, I think, up to 5,000 different things. Oh, that’s awesome. So they do like a scan and then they do what’s called metatherapy, which is sending the correct frequencies to those areas. Okay. This is actually showing metatherapy 5. So this is after treatment, what this tissue looks like for this individual.
Kim 43:40
So then then you could can you watch it as the frequencies are changing on all of these?
Guide 1 43:45
Yeah, so you’ll you’ll see it first your scan. It shows like a bar that goes down, and then metatherapy is a circle that goes out like a ripple, and then it shows it changing numbers if your body’s responsive to it.
Kim 43:56
Oh, my body’s very responsive.
Guide 1 43:58
We’ll see.
Sam 44:01
Wow, this healing center is truly a one-of-a-kind find. And now, the moment you’ve been waiting for, please join us for this exclusive Lumati open house event featuring a very special speech by Kim Rogers herself.
Guide 5 44:16
We have Kim Rogers, also known as the Worm Queen. She’s gonna share all about detox in the body and getting rid of all those worms inside of you that they might be eating you and you don’t even know it yet.
Kim 44:34
Thank you so much for having me. I appreciate you guys all. And I know it’s such a crazy name, right? Worm queen. Well, I wear it with honor. I went viral four years ago over a parasite cleanse. I come from Western medicine. I’ve been in Western Medicine since 2004. I’m actually a Western Medicine refugee. I took off running in 2019 because I was really ill. I almost died, and I started to slowly figure out what was wrong with me. And I have parasites, mold, and lime. So I use these modalities that are here constantly. It’s a daily thing for me. After I went viral on TikTok, I started a business. It’s called RogersHood, and I make parasite cleanses. I make them myself in a 10,000 square foot manufacturing facility that we actually built ourselves in order for us to have full control over the herbs that we soak. Like our ancestors made these cleanses for us. And I really want to be able to be confident in what I am talking about. So I decided to start a mission and I have been doing this for four years. I love it. I’ve healed my body of mold, parasites, and Lyme. I had every possible label under the sun that you could think of. I had stage four endometriosis. I had beginning stages of cervical cancer. I’ve had 13 surgeries and hysterectomy when I was 29 years old. I ran 25 medical colleges. I wrote and authored multiple medical books in education, and I missed a huge part of my wellness journey, which was we need to be parasite cleansing. We need to keep our lymphatic system open. We need to understand exactly what is going on inside of our bodies. And unfortunately, it’s just something that we have never experienced before. I was proud to wear the crown to be the worm queen. And it’s been really great. I have over a million followers now. I have a podcast called What’s Eating You with the letter U. And I just really want people in society to be healthy and to understand your body, be your own advocate, completely have medical sovereignty. That’s really important. And that’s what everybody here is understanding in life. And it’s really cool when you get to be with your tribe. And it’s really cool when you have people who fully understand what you’re going through. The validation is real. And the moment I realized when I saw worms in the toilet that one of my biggest problems was that I had roundworm flukes and pinworms. I also found out I had Cryptosportium Parvium, which is parvo, which kills puppies because of our water. So our water was contaminated, which just continually kept making me sick and sick. I really just love the fact that I get to stand up here and tell my story and be able to help everybody understand that cleansing is really important and also that you really can turn your life around and heal your body. I was dying in 2019 and it took a lot. It took a year and a half for me to get where I am today in that time frame. We knew things weren’t going well for me, but to be able to service others, which is this is my life mission. Like I know this is why I was put here on earth. I know it was to help people and normalize worms. Um, I have a whole company around it. And we love to assist with more than just cleansing. I talk about red light and how great it is to soak in good water, like a fora. I’ve soaked in a fora water, it’s amazing. And just really understanding your body is the most important thing you can do for yourself every day. And to be surrounded around people like you guys, where you fully validate what’s going on in our bodies is really of importance. So I am the CEO of RogersHood, and I also am the inventor of the ParaFy Parasite Cleanse, which we have inside. It’s three tinctures and a binder, and it helps with parasites, candida, heavy metals, which we all have heavy metals. I mean, it’s just a normal thing in society nowadays, and then a binder, which is really important. That’s something that I definitely missed uh, you know, in the field. We didn’t in the ER, we gave people charcoal if they were overdosing or alcohol poisoning, not a little micro dose of binder to help not have the toxins reabsorb back into your body. So, and I teach all of this and I have free resources. We also have a wellness kit that I just created to help keep your lymphatic system open, and we’ll be giving wellness shots after this if you want to give it a try. So, thank you guys for having me.
Sam 49:22
Such a powerful message, Kim. We also got to hear words from some of your favorite what’s eating you guests, like Tammy Dean and the founder of Aphora Water, Ken Guayan. Some inspiring Lumati clients shared their healing success stories, and then we got to hear all about Lumati’s mission from the founder and CEO David Perez. Inside our wellness shots were a major hit. Everyone was lining up to get a taste of RogersHood tinctures, and we got to connect one-on-one with so many people, all about the power of cleansing. We ate the most delicious clean food from Harvest Honey, created by this beautiful woman. If you’re in San Diego, look her up. The event partied on into the night, and of course, the worm queen was doing her thing, educating everyone about worms.
Holistic Skincare And Clean Products
Kim 50:07
So you’ll start your limp kit two weeks prior. And then you’re gonna keep taking your limp kit while you go into the ParaFy kit. Welcome everyone. I’m super excited about this episode. It’s all about the skin and the skin care that I do. Today I’m taking you inside Mildred, which is part of Penelope, which became my second home when I moved to Seattle. As you guys can see right here, my skin was not in good shape. This is when I was overloaded with parasites, worms, chronic lime, and black toxic mold. My skin has come a long way with a lot of cleansing and a lot of clean, holistic, non-toxic products. Everyone, welcome Alyssa. She is the amazing esthetician that has taken care of my face over the last few years and as holistic and healthy as you can find.
Alyssa 50:59
Hi, my name is Alyssa, and I’m an esthetician here at Mildred and Gertrude’s spa and also Penelope in the Futie Bar. And I have been seeing Miss Kim here for two years now. Yeah. And I have just completely watched her skin transform over these past two years.
Kim 51:15
You guys were the ones that got me to switch over to Biologique Rochers.
Alyssa 51:18
Mm-hmm. I absolutely love that line because of how transparent they are. Same with all European skincare. And that’s the huge difference between European skincare and US skincare. Granted, there are some good unit there’s some good skincare, clean skincare in the United States. However, the you know, regulations of Europe versus the regulations here in the USA, I think like 1300 um ingredients are banned in Europe to be used in skincare. And only 11 ingredients uh have been banned in skincare here in the US. That’s crazy.
Kim 51:57
Isn’t that crazy? So one of my favorite facials is the DermaPlane facial. It basically gets hair off, but it is for actually the peach fuzz. I love it because it gives you really soft skin. It has shrunk my pores. I absorb my product way better whenever I’m using masks. I try and do it because it just helps absorb better. Dermaling is amazing because it takes exfoliating to another level, allowing your products to absorb deeper and better so they’re not fighting with anything on your skin. So my latest love is microneedling with PRX. Microneedling is the small little needles that go into your face that allow your body to produce the collagen. And then when you use the PRX, which is similar to like a peptide, and you do the microneedling, it opens up your skin, allowing the PRX to go in, and then you microneedle again, which pushes the PRX even deeper, giving me some collagen back. And as some of you might not know, that Lyme actually eats collagen, and that is a major issue with people that have chronic Lyme. And so there’s treatments out there that we can actually utilize that produce collagen naturally. I am as natural as you can get girly when it comes to skincare. And Alyssa has been my girl from the get. When I started my healthcare journey, I was so chronically ill, it really did take a toll on my face care. And I was able to do some research to find out different ways that you can plump your collagen. So I started with Vivachi. It is a radio frequency micro needling. I did three of them. It was okay. It wasn’t really the best that you could find. So I stepped into Morpheus 8. That goes deeper, it is a lot more aggressive. But when you have the sagging skin and you lose a lot of weight, you can do it to help with breaking that fat down and plumping up the collagen. So I’ve done multiple Morpheus 8s, love it. I have found that it has helped change my skin to make me look like I’m 47 years old instead of when I was chronically ill. I looked very much like I was in my 50s and 60s when I was really in my early 40s. So I researched even more ways to allow me to be more natural and utilize these, well, like biohacks for my skin without me doing any toxic treatments or anything aggressive. This is the gentle way of doing it, and I really do credit my second home, Penelope, Mildred, and Alyssa. Anytime you have a wound like this, oh exosome, it helps so much faster. So much quicker. We’re all about the stem cells and what’s eating you and Roger.
Alyssa 54:57
So okay, how’s your skin feeling? Good, good, a little tight, I could tell. Tight? It feels good. Okay, so this is our Lima, the Lima Pro. Um, this is three times uh bigger than the original Lima, and it covers so much more of the surface.
M Head Spa Scalp Analysis And Treatment
Kim 55:17
Shout out to Penelope and Alyssa. This is where I found out about the Lima laser. The best FDA approved cold laser out there that you can use at home has transformed my skin. I combined it with the microneedling PRX, and it just helps smooth your skin better and plump more collagen, allowing you to heal faster. The biggest alert for me when I was chronically ill to figure out that I had parasites was the fact that my skin was a disaster. I used really great products, but I had problems with my face. So it made me really look into what else I could be doing to help my internal gut. Your gut dictates what happens to pretty much your whole body, including your skin. So I dug down and I found out that parasites can actually cause you to have skin issues. Then I did the parasite cleanses and I came over ParaFy, and as I was deworming, some of my skin issues obviously went away. When I paused from doing the ParaFy kit, my eyes swelled shut. And again, my skin alerted me to having an understanding that something else was going on internally. So it was my body’s way of telling me to wake up, pay attention. So I then realized that we had black toxic mold in the travel trailer that we were living in while we were building our log home. And I then dug into finding out more about mold and created the MolDeze Cleanse Kit, the amazing MolDeze Cleanse Kit, which came with a mute and recover. And recover is specifically because of hair, skin, and nails. Most of my issues that alert me are my hair, skin, and nails. And when you have mold poisoning, your skin becomes a mess as well. You lose hair, your nails are frail. When you’re able to go in and help move out the mold and the spores, your skin gets better, your hair starts to grow back, and your nails get stronger. And that’s what Recover does for you. It has pumpkin seeds, milk thistle, oyster and shiitake. Little do people know that oyster and shiitake are one of the most amazing mushrooms for your hair, skin, and nails. And that’s because of the different nutrients that you’re absorbing that your body is just not used to getting, and it just boosts your beauty.
Sam 57:45

Guide 6 58:27
Okay, so we’re gonna start right here for your treatment. We have seven different essential oils for you to choose from today. And just let me know which scent you will like for today’s treatment. We start this at the beginning so we can get you grounded before we massage and start assessing your scalp and then washing it as well, too. Okay.
Kim 58:43
Is there a favorite of anybody’s like one that they always pick?
Guide 6 58:46
Number four and six.
Kim 58:48
Ready? Okay, so let’s go through each one and just sniff on sniff on.
Guide 6 58:52
Yeah, so go ahead.
Sam 59:03
Oh, they’re all chakras. Oh, oh! Four is rose, which makes sense that it’s heart. So this is and this is the crown. So it makes sense people choose four and six the most.
Kim 59:14
I’m gonna go with six.
Sam 59:16
I’m going with the heart chakra. To open my heart. You filming me, filming you. Okay, so first of all, this space is so relaxing and serene. We put on these super comfy robes and are settling in for our special scalp treatments. I have more poisoning parasites than I’ve lost.
Kim 59:37
Oh my goodness. I’ve lost half my hair in mold. Okay. How do you find out if you have mold? Uh my eye sculpture and I lost half my hair. Oh my goodness.
Guide 6 59:49
This place is perfect for stimulating hair growth and like fixing up the scalp. So let’s see what’s going on. So we’re gonna start with your scalp analysis, and what we’re looking currently right now is for like oil production. Okay, now we’re gonna look for density. Your hair is still nice and full though. Even though you told me about like what happened to your hair and the history of it. It’s been a journey. I’ve been you have like a baby hair later. So that’s good. So whatever you’re doing, keep it up. Okay. But we’re looking here.
Speaker 1:00:21
She’s normal.
Guide 6 1:00:21
Yeah, she’s normal. Good scalp. And then right here for the hair follow-up. Oh, we’re just looking for clogged pores here, right? Which you do have a couple going on the scalp. And then dandruff right here is great. You’re not flaky, so that’s good.
Guide 5 1:00:33
I don’t have any danger.
Guide 6 1:00:35
Sensitivity right here is measured through sleep, stress, and diet. You are showing some dullness and redness on the top of the scalp, which is totally normal. If any of those factors I’ve listed have been thrown off within the week. Um, typically, if you allow yourself to relax after the treatment when we do your afters, it will look more brighter and clear than this. Um, 90% of it when the clients come in and I show them this, it’s like stress related. Yeah, and sleep. And yeah, and then density right here, like I said, it is good. You still have multiple hair strands coming out of each hair follicle. Um, so whatever you’re doing to regrow your hair, keep doing it because it’s it’s nice. There’s no like further signs of thinning, like this client over here, you know? Yeah, you still have multiple strands coming out of here. Hair quality right here. We’re just looking for split ends or any signs of breakage at the top of the scalp, which you currently don’t have any. Fully relax. There you go, beautiful. I was watching some of your work, and I find it really interesting you guys cover over parasites and like worms, and I think that’s so cool because um nobody ever talks about that, you know. That’s what started this. That’s good.
Kim 1:01:37
That’s where this journey started. I was really sick and almost died, and we figured out what was wrong with me, and it had to do with parasites. We had worms in our water, and I did a video on TikTok, and I went viral. So my nickname is Worm Queen.
Guide 6 1:01:57
I like that.
Kim 1:01:59
It’s a good one. Yeah, I actually found way more out than that, but that’s just kind of what started it all to find out what my root cause was. Yeah. And then a few months later, I started my own business because I’m dedicated to transparency and natural cleansing. Yeah. And I come from Western medicine, so I’ve been on that side of the aisle and it didn’t help me heal. So I started a company for parasite cleansing. That’s amazing. You know, I teach people how to parasite cleanse, and I had mold poisoning, and I have wine. So I talk about all the things that are eating you, and then I met Sam Bruno and we decided to start a podcast and call it What’s Eating You?
Guide 6 1:02:42
That’s our podcast. That’s awesome. That’s amazing. I like that. Keep it up. I do. I think that everyone has parasites. Oh, that’s interesting.
Sam 1:02:56
Really?
Guide 6 1:02:57
Oh my goodness.
Sam 1:02:58
I also blew over a hundred out of my notes. Herbal, organic, herbal, all natural cleans.
Kim 1:03:04
Oh my goodness.
Sam 1:03:05
Everyone has them for sure.
Kim 1:03:07
Everyone has parasites. It’s just how they can affect your body in certain autoimmune issues, or if you’re in a high stress level. So, what is what is this machine you’re using?
Guide 6 1:03:20
So, we’re using the Hairfax meso and oxygen infused machine. It helps aerate the serums when we put it in the machine, and when we spray it on the scalp, it has a you get a better coverage as well, too. So we’re not missing any section in the scalp with these serums.
Sam 1:03:37
Okay, we honestly cannot say enough about these ladies’ professionalism, serious TLC, and amazing energy. We were so relaxed.
Guide 6 1:03:47
Yeah, how do you do ball heads? Ball heads? Uh, we will just massage way more. A lot of massage, yeah. And then we’ll do a little wash. You know, you still gotta wash the scalp, you know, you can get it moisturized with the products we got going on here, but a lot more massage for sure. Nice, yeah. But we do bald people here though, too. I’m sorry, something funny. None.
Kim 1:04:17
Oh, this is great.
Guide 6 1:04:18
That’s good.
Kim 1:04:19
And what kind of treatment is this?
Guide 6 1:04:21
So, what we’re doing is the French Lux treatment right here. It’s uh we use the hair flex products, and right now we’re going in with the lush. It’s a 15-step process. I love it. Um, we’re not even done once we get you back up, but we still have like the shoulder and neck massage with the cupping as well. If you’re interested in that, yeah. Yeah, yes, please. It does leave a mark, so I just like to ask because some people like to skip it, and I’ll just give you a nice massage out there.
Kim 1:04:48
No, and you you cup the neck.
Guide 6 1:04:50
We cup like from here, the traps and the back of the neck as well. Too what you’re doing with cupping, it releases uh the toxins and inflammation to the surface of the scalp. That’s why it’s so popular in like uh traditional Chinese medicine. Have these become more popular? The head spas? Oh, yeah, especially in the US. So head spas are really big in Asia. It’s gonna be forever out there. Hair is so nice and soft. Oh my goodness. We’re gonna go back with serum number one. It has the hyaluronic acid in here. She’s gonna promote, it’s gonna lock in all that moisture we did today, okay? A little cold right. You love the cold? Okay, good.
Kim 1:05:53
I love it.
Guide 6 1:05:55
That’s good. Most of the essential oils and ingredients, they derive from plants. That’s what I like about the hair facts wine as well too. Crazy how a little plant can just give so much, you know? Give so much love back to our skin and hair.
Guide 5 1:06:15
So activated.
Guide 6 1:06:18
Yeah, we’re gonna blow dry a little bit. And then yeah, we’ll go on from there. Yeah. The red light, and then that’s when we start the cupping as well.
Speaker 1:06:25
Oh yeah. Yeah, we can have it.
Guide 6 1:06:43
Very tense. A lot of people carry a lot of like stress and pressure, like right here. Drink a lot of water too afterwards. Because you need to flush everything out that we push to the surface of the skin. You might feel a little soreness like the next day, but that’s so normal after like cupping or a deep tissue massage.
Sam 1:07:04
So basically, you’re giving us hickeys all over Yeah.
Guide 6 1:07:10
Pretty much, yeah.
Guide 2 1:07:13
I mean, this is really some things I’ve never ever seen.
Guide 6 1:07:17
This is such a unique yeah, a lot of Americans don’t know about it, you know. So I’m happy they’re branching out, you know, like out here.
Speaker 1:07:24
They don’t know about it.
Guide 6 1:07:25
Yeah, they don’t know, which is good. So, like, yeah, and thank you for picking like us as one of your stops, you know, and then like showing. So, thank you so much. Thank you.
Kim 1:07:38
I agree. Thank you.
Guide 6 1:07:42
Thank you, thank you for doing that. Thank you, our community style. Yeah, thanks, fish. It’s all soft.
Guide 3 1:08:02
That’s great.
Guide 6 1:08:03
Yeah, I love the hair fax line, it’s just it just speaks for itself, you know. Then we’re gonna finish off with the high frequency. Yep, so it’s gonna kill any leftover bacteria. Also promotes hair growth. Look how brighter. Oh, yes. I think we were the first um head spots to do the camera, and then like everybody kind of just caught on.
Guide 5 1:08:30
Wow, that’s a huge improvement.
Guide 6 1:08:33
Okay, so this is your before and afters. So before is right here, afters are right here. You could tell the scalp has been cleared off. It’s way more cleaner, brighter, definitely more refreshed. We put moisture back into the scalp as well. Um, but you could tell that this is more clean and sleek and shinier, while this is more of an oily, greasy shine, you know, in the photos. Right here, your scalp is even more brighter, and you could tell we took care of the little sebaceous filaments at the base of the hair folcles right here. We exfoliated all that stuff out of your scalp. Uh your redness has calmed down significantly, so that’s really good. And it looks more brighter. And here’s the big ones with all the buildup and information you had going on, it’s been cleared off. Wow. Yeah, of course. Uh you can click and yeah, I can like change them for you. Wow. Before it’s awesome!
Sam 1:09:20
Wow, so M Head Spa offers a truly unique and personalized experience. Unlike traditional salons, they focus solely on the health and rejuvenation of the scalp and hair. With specialized treatments and techniques, they cater to everything from dry, flaky scalp to thinning hair and even regrowing after hair loss. And the way that they took care of our entire crew was honestly just top tier. I can wear a tile on my hair too.
Kim 1:09:50
We see you see.
Sam 1:09:55
How you feeling, Jar? You look happy. Oh yeah. That’s great. Fancy hat, man. Fancy red light hat. You live in. So have hair. It actually grew a little bit in the past hour.
Guide 6 1:10:16
So yeah, we do do ball people here though. What do you do? We do do ball people here.
Sam 1:10:23
Looking and feeling fabulous. Our hair is so soft.
Kim 1:10:27
We just finished and it feels so great.
Sam 1:10:30
Yeah, they took care of it. So great. They took really good care of us here at M Head Spa. What was your favorite part?
Kim 1:10:35
All of it, but really the care that they gave us and how they explained everything so you totally understood and they did before and after, just showing exactly what they did and how well it worked.
Sam 1:10:49
Yeah, the before and after pictures are probably my favorite because they use this insane camera that gets so close to your scalp, it’s a little uncomfortable to see how ugly it looks up close. But afterward, how much it improves is like really mind-blowing. So that was probably my favorite part. Also, it’s just so relaxing.
Kim 1:11:06
And it smells so good. So good. Like we smell really good.
Sam 1:11:08
Yeah, we do. Yeah, and the best part is we’d not forget about the men in our crew. So the what’s eating you men got to get their scalps done too. So whether you’re bald or a man, so they handle boys, bald, every beards, beards, blondes, we’re talking, we’re trying to talk them into doing beards.
Kim 1:11:27
Right.
Sam 1:11:28
Well, they’ll they’ll do a man’s head that has a beard. Yes, yes. Yeah, and uh blondes, brunettes, it was like color safe for me too. So even though like it washed a little bit of my color out, like it didn’t it it didn’t change it to where I wouldn’t want to come and do it. So even if you have colored hair, I would still highly recommend coming.
