What’s Eating U?! Tea Time: Summertime Toxins, RFK Jr & America’s Water Crisis

Sam Bruno: 0:00

Ooh, we’re talking, talking about what’s eating you. Talking about what’s eating you, proudly brought to you by Rogers Hood Apothecary. Hello, beautiful people, welcome back to what’s Eating you. We are your hosts, Sam and Kim, and we are serving you all of the health and wellness information and healing knowledge that you’re hungry for. And today we are spilling the tea, aren’t we, kim? We are, we are. We got some juicy tea.

Sam Bruno: 0:29

As we all know, summer is here it is officially here, which means lots of vacations, lots of summer activities outdoors, the kids are out of school, lots of water, lots of sweet treats.

Sam Bruno: 0:42

So today we really want to focus on water and food and shine light on some things happening in the world that we want to bring attention to and let you guys know what’s going on. At the same time, give some recommendations and tips from myself and the Worm Queen so you know how to navigate the summer months as healthy as possible for you and your whole family. Let’s start with the water. As we know, Kim Rogers loves to spill the tea on the truth about the water quality in America, because it is a misconception that this country has the cleanest, best water sources, and even just the other day I heard someone say like oh well, you know me and my family, we have well water out here on our land so we’re good to go. And if you don’t know the worm queen story, I highly recommend you dive into the archives, because she got very, very sick from well water. So not all water, naturally sourced or not, is good for you, right?

Kim Rogers: 1:40

Yep, it’s not. It’s not good for you. It’s really sad that we’re in this situation, and I always use the example would you go and drink water in Mexico and everybody says no, and you just got to treat our water the same whether it’s going in a lake or a well, because our water table on this planet is not great anymore. And pharmaceuticals I mean just the pharmaceuticals like put the parasites aside, they’re tested heavy metals and even great well water, like at my parents’ house, has arsenic in it, high levels. So it’s like I think we’ve just don’t understand the way everything is processed in life, and so it’s really again about being proactive versus reactive. So if you just know, it’s okay, that’s right Part of being proactive, proactive versus reactive. So if you just know, it’s okay, that’s right Part of being proactive is knowing first.

Sam Bruno: 2:28

That’s like the first step you have to know. And so I love starting off with this because, like we said, summertime kids are running in the sprinklers, swimming in the pools, you’re soaking, you’re rinsing off your produce, your fresh fruit that you’re making all of your sweet summer treats with in the tap water. But let’s dive into what is in America’s tap water. Let’s tap into what is really in America’s water and how one of our favorite unofficial guests, rfk Jr, on what’s Eating you what he’s talking about as it pertains to the water in America. So let’s dive into this clip really quick and watch this.

Video: 3:08

My son was saying this. My son was in the hazardous waste industry and he had to take an exam and that if a fluoride truck crashes on the highway they have to clear the highway for miles around and people come in and Tyvek suits and respirators and and gloves to do the cleanup, and you know it is.

Video: 3:29

It’s a toxic ingredient. It’s a toxic byproduct of the certain chemical process and oil industry process and for many years those industries. It was costing them thousands of dollars per drum to get rid of them. And then they came up with the idea why don’t we put it in the water supply?

Video: 3:48

And they did that and it causes cancers.

Video: 3:51

Of course, it causes your bones to deteriorate and it causes severe IQ loss, a group that I’m associated with won a seven-year lawsuit against EPA on fluoride that I think will result in the fluoride being removed from all the water supplies in this country.

Kim Rogers: 4:13

If you think about it, they were able to get away with it because it’s like they legalized it, you know.

Sam Bruno: 4:22

They make the laws. So it’s like, well, it’s, it’s legal, yeah, but that doesn’t make it ethical or right or not harmful for humans. I’ve been off of fluoride for over a decade. I mean fluoride free toothpaste yep, fluoride free. I mean, I’ve been off of fluoride for a long time. Partly what what initiated my awakening to fluoride was a spiritual one, because we understand that it actually calcifies the penile gland, which is your third eye. Okay, so we’ve been off of it for a long time. I have a theory that I do think that fluoride is also keeping the masses somewhat docile. Yes, okay, so we’re on the same page with that.

Kim Rogers: 5:02

Glad to hear that. Okay, I think mine was 2020. 2020 is when I switched my deodorant. I switched my fluoride toothpaste because I used to use Sensodyne, because my teeth were so sensitive and I switched everything over and my teeth started to, like you know, heal because I was switching over. I didn’t switch to Boca right away, but I did get off of anything that had to do with fluoride.

Sam Bruno: 5:28

At least it was fluoride free yeah.

Kim Rogers: 5:30

I was trying to clean everything up got off my big pharma cartel, got off of all the fluoride, got out of the aluminum in my deodorant, like I just had enough with all the poisoning of my body, and I wanted to really genuinely see what I as a soul felt like without all these extra environmental toxins that were how.

Sam Bruno: 5:54

How did you, as a soul feel?

Sam Bruno: 5:57

I mean, I found out we need to parasite cleanse you woke up like immediately I felt like I felt like I woke up out of a slumber like a deep, long sleep, when I same thing Like I feel like a lot of people have this similar type of story where we wake up and we like get rid of so much at once because we just come into the information of what’s actually harming us or keeping us sick or slow, you know, thinking or moving or whatever, and we just want to get out of this like quick sand that we’ve been living in and yeah, so we get rid of the heavy metals and we get rid of the chemicals and we get rid of the toxins and we get rid of the fluoride, and then we be.

Sam Bruno: 6:33

We became smarter, like I did. I can speak for myself on that one. I became smarter, faster, quicker, sharper, and I started waking up and then being able to see the truth about a lot of other things that have helped me heal.

Kim Rogers: 6:44

I ripped. Not only that bandaid off, sam, but I ripped off. I quit drinking. I quit smoking cigarettes. After 20 years I quit smoking cigarettes. I pivoted because I went on to like some CBD cigarettes and that was like the purpose of them was that you could use them. They were like really exactly smelled. I got the menthol CBD one so it helped with the pain from getting off of and you still were getting that like sensation.

Sam Bruno: 7:17

Yeah, you were used to, because I get that too. I smoked cigarettes for two months of my life, wow, wow. But I tell that story because it’s funny. I smoked them for two months and I was absolutely addicted. Yes, and we’ve talked about this before, the menthol ones were both of our go-to and it was hard for me to kick them. Two months, so two decades. I can’t even imagine the claws and the hooks they had in you.

Kim Rogers: 7:46

It might’ve been even longer. So I remember when we went to South Dakota two weeks ago. We drove past our old house and the only thing I remember about the house next door is that that’s where I got my first cigarette. It was he, and I didn’t want to say that in front of my parents.

Sam Bruno: 8:02

Right, yeah, but he would put them like they’re going to watch this and know I know, hey, mom, so I would go next door and I would pull it out.

Kim Rogers: 8:12

It’s so gross Out of the ashtray, yep, and I tried it and I was from that day forward, so I must have been like 13 years old. Yeah, when I’m 46.

Sam Bruno: 8:21

Right. The crazy thing about all of these things we’re talking about all of these, like heavy metals and toxins and chemicals that all this stuff contains and has, is it is allowing your body to be the perfect host for parasites.

Kim Rogers: 8:36

Yes.

Sam Bruno: 8:37

When you’re overloaded with all this stuff. So once you start getting rid of all of this stuff and start waking up and decalcifying your penile gland Am I even saying penile, right? Yeah, you’re saying it, right? Okay? Then literally you start to even make your body inhospitable for them, just by getting rid of the stuff that they love and live in alone. But speaking of heavy metals, right, I definitely want to tap into this for a second, because our babies Definitely want to tap into this for a second, because our babies, america’s babies, man, I mean, I’ve known for a long time that the formula is full of garbage and trash when I used to look just for kicks I don’t have children, but I used to look like, once I woke up to food the truth about food I started to look at the ingredients list of infant formula and I could not believe that newborn babies I mean, forget about the kind of jabs that they get right away in the hospital right off the bat right.

Sam Bruno: 9:29

Right out of the gate.

Kim Rogers: 9:30

I mean it’s ridiculous, and we will tap deeper into that on a different episode, because that’s a whole other conversation and I have combos being a medical professional and what we used to do for jab camps.

Sam Bruno: 9:42

Yeah, yeah, it’s unreal. The ingredients in these baby formulas, the top ingredients in them, is like GMO soy protein, isolate corn syrup solids, gmo corn syrup solids to a newborn little, perfect, pure body. What have we done? What has America done? Let’s roll this clip really quick.

Video: 10:09

Congress issued a congressional report and they had investigated baby food manufacturers and subpoenaed them and discovered that they contain that the products that they were selling Gerber, beech, nut, nurture, you name it were selling products that had exceedingly high levels of lead, arsenic, mercury and cadmium.

Kim Rogers: 10:32

Okay, so really quick with that. There’s two things. One, they’re synthetic driven lead, mercury and it’s a synthetic. They’re not using a natural, organic way of producing a product.

Kim Rogers: 10:48

Also high dangerous amounts that also matters, and the levels do make a difference when it is a natural ingredient and organic, because this is natural.

Kim Rogers: 11:00

If you were to go and swab a carrot, it would come back with higher levels than what you would anticipate. And I say this because we use natural ingredients and so we’ve been third party tested and there are some things in ours, but it’s way like, on average, the dirt in America has levels above 21 BPM, which is parts per million, and so when you’re using organic driven things like tinctures and fulvic, it’s going to have some in it because it’s from the earth, of course it’s going to have some in it because it’s from the earth, of course. But what they’re doing is they can synthesize that out. So it’s shocking that they’re not synthesizing out these heavy metals, and I have multiple videos that they found worms and parasitic activity in baby formula and in fact it was brought to the floor of lawmakers stating that they did so many tests and parasites and worms, and I’m happy to send that to you, sam, so you can put that here so that other people can actually see that this made the news.

Sam Bruno: 12:21

Let’s insert that here, for sure.

Kim Rogers: 12:22

So that you guys can see that it’s really important to know where all products that you’re going to ingest or put on your skin come from. And that’s why we stand at Rogers hood so proudly with third party testing, because we did it without even needing to be prompted. It was just really of importance to me, and not that at some point maybe these companies it wasn’t important to them, but it’s not now and we as a society, in this medical awakening, can force them to make this important to us, and that’s where this movement really is going with everyone.

Sam Bruno: 13:01

I love it. Leave it to the worm queen. So parasites and worms and baby formula. You heard it here. First, let’s roll that clip.

Kim Rogers: 13:09

They want action. News. Tonight, two mothers make a disgusting discovery when they’re feeding their young children.

Video: 13:16

I pick up the bottle and hold it in the light and I see worms like inching up and we poured it down the drain and we saw maggots on her.

Video: 13:26

Tonight, we uncover that the baby formula used by both of those moms were from different companies 41 Action News reporter Dia Wall went to get answers for both of them. Dia.

Video: 13:38

Yeah, mike and Rhiannon. Tonight we’re talking about two babies whose moms have one story when they made bottles using powdered formula, they found worms inside.

Video: 13:44

When they made bottles using powdered formula, they found worms inside. You guys are not going to believe this. I found worms, lots of worms.

Video: 13:53

Helen Williamson says they came from this can of Nutramigen, the formula she uses to feed her infant daughter.

Video: 14:00

I happened to glance over at the bottle and saw, you know, waves. And I pick up the bottle and hold it in the light and I see worms like inching up. She stopped. It was a brand new bottle. It was sitting in the cupboard but I still cleaned it out. You know soap water.

Video: 14:14

So she recorded this video as a warning to other moms Floating around in there.

Video: 14:19

But her story isn’t unique. Taylor Seiler had a similar experience with Similac. Two ounces down I noticed the worms and I was like, oh, that’s great. She snapped these pictures, now shared more than 43,000 times. Abbott, the company that makes Similac, told us a third-party entomologist looked at the photos and determined quote they entered the product after it left our facilities and the safety seal was removed. I try to explain that if it was something that happened a lot and it was like the person who was making the bottles was fault and it wasn’t their fault, to maybe explain that, have a disclaimer, make a post about it. We reached out to the makers of Nutramigen but haven’t heard back.

Video: 15:00

You know, and I depend on that company, and then this is what happens.

Video: 15:10

And then I hear that this isn’t the first time.

Video: 15:12

It’s not right. It really isn’t. And it’s keeping these moms up at night Like this is every month. I mean, this is a nightmare. All I could think about, you know, was that stuff in her bottle.

Video: 15:20

Dr Stephen Thornton, a toxicologist at the University of Kansas Hospital, said the worms in the photos to him looked very similar to maggots. His advice is to call the company, the health department, then take the formula back to the store unless it’s needed for testing, and be sure to check your baby’s bottles before.

Sam Bruno: 15:37

That’s insane. Kind of speechless on that, like I mean we’re talking about.

Kim Rogers: 15:44

We’re talking about babies.

Sam Bruno: 15:45

We’re talking about babies.

Kim Rogers: 15:47

Like they don’t have a choice they eat whatever is being fed to them.

Sam Bruno: 15:52

So, speaking of children, babies, like we said, it is summer, like what? This is the peak time of the year for all the sweet treats to come out, all of the popsicles and all of the barbecue sauces, and everyone’s grilling and everyone is eating all of this food that everyone loves to consume during summertime. But we really got to talk about the importance of cleansing. So Kim always talks about being proactive versus reactive when it comes to your health, and the difference is taking measures before you get sick, before you get overloaded, all of that to help your body be able to combat these parasites, worms, viruses, the mucus, like it’s about staying proactive, and so this does go for us and our children, our families. So the Parify Cleanse from Rogers Hood is safe for three-year-olds and up. So it’s a good time, if you don’t have any Parify kits on deck, to get those on deck now and have your family be cleansing through the summer. So you’re avoiding issues when school time rolls around in the fall. You’re avoiding anyone getting sick during the summer, unnecessarily overloaded with all of these environmental toxins.

Sam Bruno: 17:06

So there’s one more clip I want to roll about, specifically about food dyes in America, because if you want to talk about popsicles, sweet treats, candy, all the stuff that everyone is getting from the store for all of the summer activities and get togethers and vacations. This is so important for everyone to know. So we have already made some progress. One food die has been banned. Yay, we can. We can celebrate where there’s you know room, but there’s like several more that still need to be, and RFK is saying if he has his way, they will be banned from America’s shelves at the end of 2026.

Kim Rogers: 17:45

And before we hit, go on this I want everyone to know you have to remember that we’re human and that we continually strive to be the best we all can be, and so it’s overwhelming when you get news and you’re like, oh my gosh, what do we do? How do we do this? Follow 80-20.

Sam Bruno: 18:04

To me, the only way I will stamp Sam’s stamp of approval for 80-20 is if you’re cleansing. Yes.

Kim Rogers: 18:11

Yeah, being proactive.

Sam Bruno: 18:13

Yeah, cleanse, because if you’re not, you are letting things build up. Even that 20% can build up over time, absolutely, especially if you’ve never done a cleanse or if your kids have never done a cleanse.

Sam Bruno: 18:23

So if you’ve never given your body a chance to have a break from even the 20%, then you’re just building up and creating blockages and overgrowths and all these things. So cleanse, cleanse, cleanse. You can use the code what’s eating you what’s eating in the letter U for 10% off all cleanses, all kits, all products at rogershoodcom. But I highly recommend. Yes, absolutely. We’re humans, you want to enjoy life, you want to absolutely implement the moderation rule, but you gotta be helping and assisting your body and getting out the harmful toxins and environmental toxins and harmful organisms at the same time. And the heavy metals that we just showed you are in the water, are in the baby formula, are in so much of our food grown in America. We got to get the heavy metals out. That’s the beautiful thing about Parify is it doesn’t just cleanse you of parasites. It cleanses you of parasites, worms, heavy metals, toxins, Candida, Candida viruses, bad bacteria, mucus. We got to get this stuff out so that we can enjoy our lives and enjoy the 80-20 rule right.

Video: 19:26

Keeping his campaign promise to make America healthy again. Health Secretary Robert F Kennedy Jr says he wants food makers to stop using synthetic dyes made from petroleum to color what we eat and drink.

Video: 19:39

The problem is, industry is making money on keeping us sick.

Video: 19:44

The FDA, citing a new epidemic of childhood diabetes, obesity and ADHD. In January, the FDA banned red dye number three. The new ban targets six more synthetic dyes and two food colorings, common ingredients found in cereals, candies, cakes and even medicine Common ingredients found in cereals, candies, cakes and even medicine. The measure authorizes four new natural color additives and fast-tracks the approval of others. A food dye trade group says in part, color additives have been rigorously reviewed by global health authorities with no safety concerns. Despite common misconceptions, fd&c colors are approved and continue to be used worldwide. At Chew in Boston, food makers are already using pigments from cabbage, turmeric and beets as food coloring. Why is so much food in the American diet made with artificial colors and flavors? In short, because they’re easy, they’re cheap.

Video: 20:39

CEO Adam Malonis says the technology is available now and there’s no need for artificial colors.

Video: 20:57

So this is purple carrots and beet juice. It can make food look the same as the red dye. Yes, it can. With the right dilution, concentration and intelligence? Yes, and is it much more expensive to use this. No. The ban calls for all synthetic dyes to be removed by the end of next year.

Kim Rogers: 21:04

It’s the hoops they make the laws, and we know those hoops.

Yeah, because we do it the way we want to do it and we’re doing it the right way.

Sam Bruno: 21:09

Explain to people what you mean by hoops.

Kim Rogers: 21:11

So because we run an organic, ethically sourced, all natural company, the hoops that we have had to go through to continue to run our company like this is nuts. It’s crazy the amount of time that you have to invest, the amount of money you have to invest, the amount of extras you have to invest to go above and beyond proving that we’re doing it the right way, that we’re doing it the way that it should be done, the way that the FDA came in and they were very kind, but at the same time it was like if you don’t do it this way, we know we’re going to get shut down and that’s a scary feeling, you know. And so he’s doing against the grain. We are against the grain. Anytime you go against the grain, you are met with resistance and you are called crazy and a quack and you’re called names and you’re fearful.

Kim Rogers: 22:15

Sometimes I’m not fearful anymore, but definitely at the beginning of all of this it was very nerve wracking, right, and what started all of it is specifically because I asked questions to the first parasite cleanse that I did why do you use natural ingredients and what are they, and why are you using caramel coloring? And they could not give me an answer, and that wasn’t good enough for me. I need an answer, and so that’s kind of where this food diet thing is headed. Is that eventually we’re all going to be on that path and we need to be. But that guy has probably met a lot of resistance for speaking out, and that’s a big deal in society now.

Sam Bruno: 22:56

Yeah, I think it’s a beautiful thing, though, that, at this level like, we have someone like RFK Jr out there advocating and making all this noise, because it’s becoming way more widely known and talked about, and it’s like changes. We’re watching change starting to happen and a shift starting to take place, and I mean all we can do is just help support, get this information out there, because the more people that know, the more people that talk about it, the more people that know, the more people that talk about it, the more people that share this videos like this with their friends and family, and the more that know, the more that that change is going to take place.

Sam Bruno: 23:31

Yeah, so we’re really just supporting that happening, but it’s an exciting time because I’ve known about all of this for a long time now, and so it’s like what’s happening is like just aligning with, like how I already live my life, how I’ve already been, you know, positively influencing my family and friends to live, and eat, and and, and it’s lining up and I’m like wow, it’s like it’s really exciting.

Kim Rogers: 23:54

I just wanted people to know, because the question’s going to be why can’t everyone do that? And so to kind of answer that and to give a behind the scenes BTS of why, why aren’t we doing all of that? Because they have red taped us all so much as a business. Never in a million years would I have ever thought I was going to be running the type of business that I run. I never thought that I would ever be in a position like this, or I know I had the knowledge to do it, but I mean knowledge versus doing it. So that’s why, that’s why I went so in depth with this, why they can’t do it right away and why businesses aren’t just switching. That’s why, like, if you don’t start that way, it’s real hard to reverse it and go backwards.

Sam Bruno: 24:39

Yeah Well, good luck to all of the major companies. Have fun doing that and finding the replacement for all of the dyes that are poisonous. Um, I don’t feel sorry for you. No, um, also, they very much do put a lot of attention on the children, like I notice in all these clips. They’re always talking about the children and I’m like I’m sorry, but all people eat these cereals, like all ages. Like this is this is it’s an epidemic affecting everyone the children, the grown adults, the old, all of us.

Kim Rogers: 25:09

I think what started it is in 2016,. We all had a motto of save the children and that’s been our driving force. Some of you may or may not know that in 2016, I helped uncover some things back in the day and it was always for the children, like that was always what our goal and our, our mission has been is that we are trying to keep our children uplifted as healthy as possible with the knowledge protection you know. So that’s really where I feel like they are bringing it back to the children, because when you look at how much crap is in a child that they don’t have that choice. We’re just trying to bring our next generation up in a more healthy and happy and knowledgeable type of mentality and it’s just taken almost 10 years to get us here, but it started in 2016 and we’re seeing these amazing results from what everybody pushed through.

Sam Bruno: 26:09

It’s a beautiful thing, because look at all the years you and I, as grown adults, have had to work to undo the damage that was done to us.

Speaker 5: 26:19

Yeah.

Sam Bruno: 26:20

That our bodies and minds and brains and chemicals and systems went through by being poisoned so young.

Sam Bruno: 26:27

And so it’s like, yeah, I get why the focus on the children is so important. They are our next generation. But just like on an airplane, though, when they tell you, you got to put the mask on yourself first. We have to simultaneously focus on healing ourselves, being our own patient advocates, being sovereign in our own health, not putting it in anyone else’s hands, and being like well, whatever they say, like know for yourself, find out the information for yourself, use the tools to be proactive in your own life and your own health.

Sam Bruno: 26:54

You’re going to be way more capable and have way more bandwidth to help heal the children Like we have to be healthy and clear thinking ourselves and not bogged down with fluoride and heavy metals and all of these things Parasites. Parasites and all the environmental toxins and mold and all the stuff, right? Okay, so I would love to speaking of the fluoride. I would love to bring it back to the water for a second I’m just so curious what the worm queen has to say about this.

Sam Bruno: 27:24

So what would the Worm Queen do? This is going to be a new segment. I think I’ll probably put those letters up here, you know, like WWJD, but it’s WWQD.

Kim Rogers: 27:39

What would the Worm Queen do. Okay. So there’s a T in there, Worm queen. Okay, I got it. I got it. W-w-t.

Sam Bruno: 27:49

W-W-T Q Q D. Oh my gosh. W W T W Q D, we got it. It’s summertime, everyone is going on vacations, going to the lake, boats, swimming, lots of things like this. Interactions with natural water sources that we all know from your story can contain really harmful organisms. So do you recommend people completely avoid swimming in lakes and natural bodies of water, or what do you suggest when it comes to at this, because I’m such a water body right.

Kim Rogers: 28:35

I’m such a.

Sam Bruno: 28:37

It’s your Pisces moon. I love the ocean, I know. It’s your Pisces moon.

Kim Rogers: 28:40

It’s my only, by the way. I know I’m full Virgo all the way, you guys.

Sam Bruno: 28:44

The moon is strong though.

Kim Rogers: 28:45

Kim the Pisces is the only different I have, and it’s a Pisces moon.

Kim Rogers: 29:17

It’s what makes me cry, it’s what makes me love the water, but it makes me really sad, because I love water, I love lakes, I love swimming, I love ocean and like this this part of my life where I’ve realized that it’s possible I got shish to my isin from going in a lake and that led to a parasite inside of my reproductive system which led me to need a hysterectomy, and so it’s hard for me, because I do believe that that was the sequence of events, because I always jumped in a lake anytime I was around water.

Kim Rogers: 29:32

I was, I’m, a water child. So when I say this, I say it with all of the love just cleanse, just cleanse, because it is inevitable that they are not in the water. They’re in the water, they’re in freshwater, they’re in the ocean, they’re on the beach, they’re in the dirt, and so the fear mongering that we’ve had in our past is not acceptable. So I recommend that before you jump in a lake, or your children, just take some paraffide, just like if you eat questionably. Jump in, take the paraffide. Jump in, get out, take paraffide, it’s not going to hurt you.

Sam Bruno: 30:08

Do the ParaFy cleanse, like all the tinctures in it, including the binder. But, like you said, I like that you said before. So it’s like get those kits on deck and, no matter what you and your family do this summer, whether it’s you or your kids, like no matter who it is prep your body with the Parify herbs and the heavy metal, flush and the sustain and the binders. Get in, enjoy your life, enjoy your summer vacations, enjoy the trips and keep taking it. Be human. But cleanse, that’s the thing, that’s it, that’s the answer.

Sam Bruno: 30:38

People tell me that all the time too. It’s like, well, what happens after you do a cleanse? I mean then what? And it’s like well, you have to keep cleansing. That’s why we say do it three to four times a year, like once a quarter is a good rule of thumb. But the reason is we’re constantly coming into contact with them and, like we just talked about on our episode last week on our live replay, we also talked about how quickly they reproduce in your system. So these are a couple of the reasons why you must keep cleansing. But yeah, man, cleanse so you can enjoy 80-20.

Sam Bruno: 31:10

You’re not swimming in a lake every single day of your life, and even if you are, then you should for sure be cleansing often.

Kim Rogers: 31:14

Yeah, swimming in a lake every single day of your life, and even if you are, then you should for sure be cleansing often. But well, I’m going to make my own little pond when we move because I want to be able to go in the water and not have the paranoia. And I don’t know how long I’m going to have this paranoia for my life, because it really did impact me a lot and I’m pretty sure I got crypto from when we lived on the private lake in hoodsport, so there’s so many things for me in water. But that also makes me appreciate the fact that I have something that I can take, that if I do finally decide like I’ve given in and I’ve taken, I’ve eaten some crab, right. So I’m trying to introduce those traumatic events back into my life, because they were. They almost killed me and that’s a big thing. I almost got unalived because of natural water source too.

Sam Bruno: 31:59

I mean, it was a build-up over your lifetime of a lot of things yes, and that’s where it comes back to your build-up yeah, it contributed, though, like I mean, if you would have known to pair to parasite cleanse.

Kim Rogers: 32:09

Oh, I know long ago and bind.

Sam Bruno: 32:12

Yes, yeah, and I was watching this.

Kim Rogers: 32:15

IG account and I’m going to give her credit because, like, I always say this about food, but it really sunk in when she’s like just at the lake and she’s pulling out her synthetic and she’s like popping it and she’s like, just remember, you’ve got to take care of yourself, and I’m all girl, yeah, and I’m all girl, yeah, Okay. Well, that makes me want to be okay with jumping in the lake again, Because let me just tell you, the lake we live near on the log home.

Kim Rogers: 32:42

It’s beautiful, it’s so pretty I’ve seen it, it’s gorgeous, oh, it’s so pretty, and I just want to go and be normal again. I want to get on a jet ski, I want to go on a boat, I want to kayak and not be like kayaking going. Oh, it touched me, oh, you know.

Sam Bruno: 32:56

I can. So see you out there doing that. I know that’s funny, yeah, yeah, literally like it’s like you can’t get on lake water without it touching you. I’m sorry. That’s like really great advice when it comes to natural water and natural bodies of water and, like she said, like not just lakes, but beach, ocean, rivers, creeks, lakes, no matter where. Like protect your bodies and your family’s bodies, prior with the perify kit, and then during, and then after, and then you should be good to go, you know um and if you use any synthetics or you use any other cleanse, because you know we’re just really lucky, we have the opportunity to have our own.

Kim Rogers: 33:36

But yeah, bind like it’s not going to do you any good and you you can’t overdo it with purify. You can take it before and after, make your body inhospitable, do it throughout a couple of days. Just keep that in your mind and you’re really changing your children’s thought process around it. We’re not villainizing this anymore. We’re creating a normal environment for them to say you don’t cleanse, I do, okay, go away. You know so like we really are creating this environment for people to love taking care of their bodies instead of just doing what needs to be done.

Sam Bruno: 34:12

Yeah, absolutely. That’s the difference between being proactive and reactive after something already happens and goes really wrong or something’s really wrong, and then you’re trying to work backwards and fix and correct, instead just prevent and protect. Yeah, yeah, and then so that’s natural bodies of water. The last thing I want to ask you what would the worm queen do for all water stuff at home? So say, people are home and it’s going to be 4th of July.

Sam Bruno: 34:41

I know all the berries are coming out for all of the red, white and blue desserts and people are going to be rinsing their produce in tap water and kids are running through sprinklers and there’s a lot of at-home water stuff happening during the summer. Sprinklers and, like, there’s a lot of at-home water stuff happening during the summer. So what do you suggest people do in their homes to protect them from the harmful things in city water, like we just revealed to you guys about the fluoride, the heavy metals, the pharmaceuticals, the parasites, the nematodes We’ve talked a lot about this of the terrible amounts of harmful things in water that comes out of the faucets into your home that you’re bathing in. So what should people do at home to protect themselves from the water?

Kim Rogers: 35:23

Well, there’s a couple of levels of things that you can do. One of them is if you can get a whole house filter. There’s a company called Blue Onyx. It’s three filters and a UVv light we’ll link them in the description yeah.

Kim Rogers: 35:38

So the uv light gets anything that potentially could make it through those filters, which is pretty rare and then you also then want to do like an ad back, because it’s literally removing everything from your water. And I do recommend that if you have the capability of tapping in at the street, which is what Jeremy and I did we created it like it’s a well so that all of our property’s water is filtered. So if you have that opportunity, I highly suggest that opportunity to do so. If not, then for sure on your home. In a lot of homes, the way that their hose setup is from their home as well.

Kim Rogers: 36:18

We just happen to live on a property where it came from the street. So, just so you guys know that’s the difference. If you can filter the water that they’re running through, fabulous. If not, you just keep cleansing them. You just know that there’s a possibility that it got absorbed and you’re hoping that you’re not drinking out of hose like we all did. We drank out of a garden hose growing up, we all did yeah, we all drank out of that hose.

Kim Rogers: 36:45

Again, it’s not about fear mongering, it’s about just knowledge and knowledge is power and just knowing that. Oh well, they did that, and now you’re just going to go and have them take 15 drops of Parify, and you’re just aware, you know. You’re just really more conscientious about what we’re going to do with our bodies.

Sam Bruno: 37:01

Yeah, and then, yeah, Don’t be afraid, cleanse, filter where and however you can. If that’s a shower filter, faucet filters um a whole home, a full home filter. Also for that produce, for that produce, the Therasage bubbler. Let’s talk about the bubbler for a second.

Kim Rogers: 37:24

I got to meet Robbie and Melody this last week when I was in Austin.

Sam Bruno: 37:29

At the conference. Yeah, nice Cool.

Kim Rogers: 37:32

They’re so great We’ll tag them here ‘re just okay. Such cool, down-to-earth people. I had no idea that they only started this in like 2015 ish, I think, is so. They’ve not been doing this for like a really long time. But I guess he flew to china for his daughter to find all of these great modalities because she had lyme. She’s not not alive anymore, unfortunately, because of Lyme, so it really is kind of a cool like way for them. They’re paying to purpose, like like us. But anyway, I like the massage. It’s really easy. It’s like this big it’s not a big machine, it’s a bubbler. It ozones your water. So, just, you know you’re trying to eat these things to nourish your body and if you’re just contaminating your body, even more. So I recommend the Rogers Hood Soak and I’ll go over that, and then I also recommend following that up with the Thurasage Bubbler, and all of that will be linked here in the show notes. But it’s really important that even people that come over that aren’t familiar with your way of life, that they’re going to see it and they’re going to taste it in your produce. Literally, your produce is going to taste so much better when you really soak it by the way it does.

Sam Bruno: 38:48

It really does the berries, I swear. The therisage, the ozone, it makes them like come to life again or something. Yes, that’s why I hit you and Jer a couple weeks ago. I’m like, okay, well, so after I soak them in the water, how do I store them in the fridge? And you all are like, do it like this. I’m like, oh my God, when I ate those berries I swear they totally tasted like a whole other level of berries. So walk people through really quick. What you do with the therosage bubbler real quick.

Kim Rogers: 39:14

Well, you’re removing the bacteria that’s trying to eat them, like literally they’re trying. The bacteria, the parasites are doing their job. So you’re just removing that, so you get the authentic yummy and the color and the crunch.

Sam Bruno: 39:29

Oh, yeah, you see the stuff in the water too by the way. So after you, you just put the bubbler into a bowl of water with the berries so easy and, by the way, dave and mother nature’s recommends only using distilled oh, doing this and the reason is he’s like, if you think about it and he kind of the molecules yep.

Sam Bruno: 39:46

And on top of that he was like well, don’t use spring, because if there’s any, there can be some organisms there could be and so actually I’ve changed my whole thing about enemas too now nice nice distilled, but adding a little bit of salt, and I’m talking a pinch and a little and a little bit of minerals to it as well, so that it’s not going in and stripping. But again, if you think about, I’ve been using spring water and it’s like what if there’s any kind of yep things in there?

Kim Rogers: 40:16

that’s true I’m putting it right directly, you know that’s why they have you boil that water for the enemas, because it’ll kill any potential organisms.

Sam Bruno: 40:24

You’re not always recommend spring because it comes in glass water and it’s hard for me to find. I don’t think I’ve ever found distilled that comes in glass water. If anyone knows of a distilled water that comes in glass container, please put it in the comments.

Kim Rogers: 40:38

Well, you could do something like a reverse osmosis where you dump the plastic AccuTrue, I think, is the name of them. They have a water counter system that removes the plastic and I just bought it for my parents and they love it. It’s so good and it just sits on the counter. So I mean you could dump the distilled in there and then it’ll turn into reverse osmosis and it’ll clean it even more, cause, like, listen, you can’t have enough clean ways to get to you.

Sam Bruno: 41:05

I know it’s wild. It’s wild, yeah, okay so our soak is.

Kim Rogers: 41:09

We call the Rogers hood soak. I’ve kind of owned it Right, cause I’ve been giving it out for four years now. Um, it is two cups of vinegar, a half of a lime, two tablespoons. I like Baja gold.

Kim Rogers: 41:22

This is a biohack because Baja gold sea salt will remineralize your produce. So you’re not just cleaning it, you’re also remineralizing it. You let that soak for five to 10 minutes. It you’re also remineralizing it. You let that soak for five to 10 minutes, you rinse and then you put it in new water that has the Thurasage bubbler machine going. You throw them in there and then you get another level of protection and cleanliness from the produce using the Thurasage ozone machine. The ozone removes bacteria and pesticides and it’s a hundred dollars, literally like a hundred dollars. I think I got a code rogers, and then you might even get it for like 90, nice, and you can carry it everywhere you go. So it’s not just like it’s this huge crazy machine and they have this attachment that you can actually utilize to make ozone water and ozone oil, so you can even level up even more your biohack yeah, yeah, I.

Sam Bruno: 42:20

Every time I ever use my navaj, shout out to navaj, it’s the best neti pot I’ve ever used. Shout out to Kim Rogers for putting me on to it. Um, I use ozone water in it. Nice, and I swear it makes such a difference. I got over a cold a few weeks ago or a month, maybe a little longer ago, so quickly because of adding that in plus, every time I did it I would do five drops of paraffy and five drops of sustain in there too, and I’m like get up in there.

Kim Rogers: 42:48

Yeah, man and I saw.

Sam Bruno: 42:50

I saw worms come out in the navaj water. For sure, yeah, for sure, it was right. When we got back from Jonesboro.

Kim Rogers: 42:56

Oh yeah, that one that you sent me.

Sam Bruno: 42:58

I was like, yeah, I’m like I feel like this is a mixture of being around all those herbs and at the shop and then also eating all the barbecue that we ate. When we were there, it was absolutely delicious. This is a great example of 80-20, but I don’t eat that way usually. Oh my gosh, and my body was like what did you put in me? What is this? For like weeks after, my body was like what and I got sick and stuff too. So it just shows you, once you get real clean, your body doesn’t really tolerate toxins. It doesn’t really tolerate.

Kim Rogers: 43:29

That’s why Jeremy and I are so sick, sam, because there was not one clean thing we ate in South Dakota. Not one clean. Shout out to Rapid City, man, you all need to get better clean food. Not one thing. Jeremy is like everything and cheese, and so we just had to throw our hands up. And then the last day I broke my cardinal rule I’m all 80, 20, I ate a salad.

Sam Bruno: 43:57

At a restaurant, a chicken salad, so it could have been a mixture of both this lettuce and the chicken.

Kim Rogers: 44:03

Something had salmonella something, Just so everyone knows I don’t eat raw produce outside of my house.

Sam Bruno: 44:11

Because the chances of them soaking and they’re assaging and doing all of these things to it to actually make sure it’s clean and free of like stuff, critters and and bacteria and stuff is very slim to none.

Kim Rogers: 44:26

They probably rinse it with tap water, if they even do that yeah, probably just dump it out of the bag like they don’t care. They’re not back there like let’s make sure these people are healthy.

Sam Bruno: 44:36

Unless you’re in LA, and it’s an incredible organic restaurant and Sam’s taking you there, yeah. But other than that, no, that’s how I felt in Jonesboro. That’s why, before we went, we were in Memphis and we were about to drive an hour to Jonesboro and I looked at Kim and Jer and said we’re stopping at Whole Foods in Memphis and loading up on groceries before we go to a food desert, because I will not be there without food that we can eat and like you know, making sure we have at least some of our kind of stuff.

Sam Bruno: 45:05

But shout out, I actually was impressed Jonesboro had like a couple little health stores you get healthy groceries at, but no middle America, the deep south, it’s rough.

Kim Rogers: 45:16

We understand it’s rough man, it’s rough, it’s seattle is rough, what we’re at this in austin, everyone was like oh yeah, seattle’s great. No, it’s not. There’s not an organic restaurant.

Sam Bruno: 45:26

There’s no there’s a couple. There’s a couple. I’m actually. No, I’m not you. You, before I ever came to seattle, you were like I don’t know what you’re going to eat here, and when I was there, we did. Good, there’s a few, there’s a few, it’s not LA.

Kim Rogers: 45:42

Yeah, I mean LA. I’m spoiled, I glow in LA.

Sam Bruno: 45:46

I know I’m spoiled here. It’s one of the reasons it’s hard to leave.

Kim Rogers: 45:50

Yeah, it’s okay, though it’s okay Cause we make it all work, we follow the rule and we make sure, but I just think that they need better.

Sam Bruno: 45:59

They need to do better here, they need to do better all over America and I think that people like RFK Jr are helping that agenda move forward.
